Frankley Parish Council are seeking a Lengthsman.
You will need:
- To be self-employed / have your own business. •
- Hold Public Liability Insurance up to £5 million. •
- Provide your own transport, tools and equipment. •
- Carry out Risk Assessments. •
- Complete monthly timesheets / invoices in order to be reimbursed.
- The Parish receive a budget of £2,300 per annum.
- Jobs for a Lengthsman include
- Grass cutting. •
- Cutting back over handing hedges. •
- Ensuring visibility of traffic signs. •
- Maintaining heritage and non-mains powered signs. •
- Clear drains. •
- Clear minor storm debris. •
- Tidy the roadside. •
- Report safety problems to the clerk
- Grit roads and footpaths.
You will be required to attending training or have recieved training previously
