They are chomping at the bit and raring to go but – hold on! they know nothing about parish and town councils and their first meeting is just a few days away. How are you going to condense all your years of experience into a 10-minute pep talk? The bad news is that you can’t. But the good news is that help is at hand in the form of our go-to Induction Guide for Councillors which includes the key documents needed by every council and provides detail on essential council procedures. This session is equally valuable to new clerks who might be wondering how and where to start that important induction discussion with councillors.
