Open only to Member Clerks and Council Officers.

Each session is stand alone and can be taken in any order.

Whistle Stop Tour

A training presentation for new parish and town councillors to introduce you to the basics of parish and town council business. During this 2-hour presentation we shall look at the definition of the council’s purpose; review the roles of the people involved in the council; place the council into its geopolitical context and identify procedures for meetings, managing the council's finances, and planning.

Finance for Councillors

This session is for councillors only and is designed to give them a greater understanding of their duties with regard to the council’s finances.

CiLCA Networking and Mentoring Session

This FREE event is open to Members working on the CiLCA portfolio who have attended at least one CiLCA Guidance session with Gill Lungley.

We will start with a round the room check-in to find out how everyone is getting on followed by general discussion and sharing of information.

There will be 3 one to one sessions with Gill available, please book this at the time of registration, you will be charged £15.00 +VAT for each half hour session booked.
