On Your Marks Clerks
We know there will be local council elections on 4th May 2023. Elections don’t come round that often, so it helps to have a reminder of what to do. Even if your council has never had an election there is potential for that to change, which might be a scary prospect. But don’t run for the hills just yet, here’s your chance to get to grips with what to do.
In this 2-hour session we will:
- Identify the election procedure
- Ensure key dates are diarised
- Establish who needs to be on speed-dial
- Take stock of the election paperwork
- Get ready for the post-election frenzy
- Prepare the essential documents your new council will need.
- Ask questions and share concerns and experiences.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE THE AGREEMENT OF YOUR COUNCIL TO PAY THE COURSE FEE
