Clerk Training

Worcestershire County Association of Local Councils

On Your Marks Clerks

On Your Marks Clerks

We know there will be local council elections on 4th May 2023. Elections don’t come round that often, so it helps to have a reminder of what to do. Even if your council has never had an election there is potential for that to change, which might be a scary prospect. But don’t run for the hills just yet, here’s your chance to get to grips with what to do.

In this 2-hour session we will:

  • Identify the election procedure
  • Ensure key dates are diarised
  • Establish who needs to be on speed-dial
  • Take stock of the election paperwork
  • Get ready for the post-election frenzy
  • Prepare the essential documents your new council will need.
  • Ask questions and share concerns and experiences.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE THE AGREEMENT OF YOUR COUNCIL TO PAY THE COURSE FEE
