Rous Lench Parish Council – Vacancy for Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer
Rous Lench Parish Council is seeking to appoint a new Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO). Our ideal candidate must be well organised, able to use their initiative and have strong administrative, communication and financial skills and an interest in community matters.
This is a permanent part-time vacancy (approx. 4.5 hours per week) and the Clerk will be required to attend all Parish Council meetings, which are generally held every two months on a Monday evening at Rous Lench Village Hall. This would suit someone in a similar role looking to extend their hours.
Salary: Based on NALC’s current salary scale – up to £15 per hour. Negotiable depending upon relevant qualifications and experience. The Council will provide necessary equipment to fulfil the role.
Start date: From August. Availability required during August for handover.
